About Terrence St.Hilaire

Terrence St.HilaireIt was while living in Rome that Terrence rediscovered his passion for art. During the year and a half that he and his family spent there, they visited many of its beautiful and ancient churches. From St. Peter’s basilica to the simple parish church, most are beautifully adorned with colorful marble and ornate gilded ceilings as well as many famous and not-so-famous beautiful works of art. Standing in front of Michelangelo’s Pieta, or the original Icon of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, or Caravaggio’s Crucifixion of St. Peter, Terrence realized that art in its noblest form is art that glorifies God and His creation. He returned to the United States with a new desire to take up art again with this purpose in mind.
